Bounties
Money available for independent work on prediction markets — grants, fellowships and research bounties. Who it's for, what it pays, and the condition attached that the announcement tends to bury.
12 fellows in the first cohort, one-year term
Early-career PhD researchers in information economics, market design, forecasting and related fields.
Independent study of how prediction markets collect and process information, price uncertainty, and interact with AI, policy and crypto markets. Comes with access to proprietary market data and regular workshops in New York; fellows can take part remotely.
Fellows are barred from trading on Polymarket or comparable platforms for the duration of the fellowship.
Cash and/or token, allocated on acceptance after editorial review — not on submission
Two tiers. Tier 1 is original work from domain experts in derivatives, market microstructure, mechanism design, data science or law and regulation (1,500–4,000 words, or a notebook plus writeup). Tier 2 is defined-scope analysis, paper breakdowns and use-case retrospectives (800–1,500 words).
22 entries open at the time of checking, on market-led resolution and the design of novel economic instruments for prediction markets.
You claim an entry before writing: DM @justigor on X with the entry number and a two-to-three sentence pitch on your angle and timeline, and confirm scope and allocation first.
Verified 2026-08-19. Grants, fellowships and paid independent research in prediction markets. Venue incentive programs — liquidity mining, maker rebates, trading competitions — are deliberately NOT here yet; they are a different thing for a different reader and are planned separately.
